SCNC has revitalized its website to suit members and visitors demand by garnishing it with a community environment which would help readers interact more with one another. Members would be able to create accounts, invite friends, upload videos, photos, and create groups/branches. Users would be able to control what information on their profile goes public as well as what a visitor can see vs. a member, and what a member can see vs. what an approved friend can see. We continue to enhance services on www.scncforsoutherncameroons.com as per your request.
You should be able to upload both videos and photos of memorable events.
All you need to do is;
1. Logon to the site(http://www.scncforsoutherncameroons.com) using your chosen name and password.(Follow "forgot Password" link to retrieve your password if you do not remember)
2. Click on "Join the Community" located on the main menu
3. Click on "Applications" and select "Photos" or "Videos"
4. Create an album and start loading your photos.
You can also click on the "Friends" tab and select "invite" to recruit more of your friends to join you in the cause.
One of the most exiting feature is the "group" feature.
What does this mean?
1. You can create a group/branch to represent your branch to discuss activities and issues.
2. Only members in your group/branch will have access to information within that group.
3. To be a member of a group/branch, your group administrator has to approve you. Therefore, someone who is a member of SCNC Belgium cannot see or follow discussions for SCNC France and vice-versa.
Friend request can be sent out just it is with FaceBook, and upon acknowledgment of the other party, you can exchange emails, share confidential photos and videos and more confidential discussion.
We are expanding and upgrading our server capabilities to meet your needs. Right now, the maximum video upload capacity is 24MB and 8MB for photos. In the near future, we would upgrade that feature and you would be able to upload upto 3hrs of continues video (500MB). This feature is not yet being offer by Youtube.com which is a major online streaming media site.
